This well-built full-colour hands-free camera comes fully equipped with 32MB built-in memory that is expandable to 2GB using an SD memory card, so there is plenty of room for re-takes. You can even submerge Action Cam up to 3 metres under water for even more extreme footage and take it outside in the snow in conditions below zero degrees, although you will need to get your hands on a protective pouch (details come with your Action Cam). Action Cam can be used in conditions under 32° F to 14° F (0°C to -10°C) but you will need to order a cold weather pouch by completing a form contained within the Action Cam box.
The manufacturer recommends using Energizer e2 lithium” batteries (not included) in temperatures under 32° F (0°C)
Recording time is dependent upon the size of memory card inserted and the video resolution and frame rate (frames per second) selected. On a 2GB memory card, video shot at the highest resolution (640x 480) and frame rate (30fps) offers approx 60 mins recording time. On the same card, video shot at the lowest resolution (160x120) and frame rate (15fps) offers approx 794 mins recording time.

"I got this just befor going on a cycle training week in Italy, so had little time to try it out. When I got back I was amazed at how steady the pictures were from harum scarum descents at 45-50 mph down alpine mountains - the stabilising software in the camera must be amzing. The pictures are nearly TV/DVD quality, colours good, and the light adjustment is good for different conditions. Bet used from the handlebars, because if used as a helmet cam you move your head too much for a good film - checking your gears, looking left-right-left at junctions, looking behind etc...just a great gadget.
