Brown, even toast was once a thing of dreams and fairytales. Then one day a company known as Morphy Richards set out to design the new Ecolectric Toaster, one that was eco friendly, energy efficient and even cooked toast faster. Little did they know that in making a greener 2-slice toaster they’d be rewarded with something no-one ever thought possible - a perfect golden brown slice of toast, each and every time...

There’s probably a moral to that story, but faced with delicious, even toast we forgot to look for it. And that’s not all that distracted us. The Morphy Richards toaster not only uses 34% less energy than your average 2-slice toaster thanks to its auto-close lid, which keeps all the heat in for cheaper electricity bills and faster cooking times, this gourmet 2-slice toaster comes suited and booted with a couple of other noteworthy features.

A deep vari-width toasting chamber lets you evenly toast skinny slices right up to chunky door wedge slices, while motorised bread carriages lower and raise bread from the toaster. There’s even a bagel mode so you toast bagels to perfection! Did we mention that in its black and silver combo this 2-slice toaster looks good too? We’re sold – pass the butter!
