Wake up to the Interactive Alarm Clock Alien!
Not since ET, has there been such a lovable extra-terrestrial! Say 'Hello' to the real speaking clock. This sci-fi timepiece actually listens to what you say, recognising and repeating back alarm times and responding to his name.
Being woken up in the morning by a talking clock is much more comforting than a rude awakening from a shrill ringing. The Nobby Alarm Clock is a strange one-eyed monster, but don't be put off by appearances - he just wants to be your friend!
Gives different answers to six different questions/commands:
- 'How are you feeling?'
- 'Sing me a song'
- 'Make a decision'
- 'How do I look?'
- 'Are you hungry?'
- 'Go to sleep'
This little alien uses artificial intelligence to respond to your voice and he'll reply to six of your questions or commands with some cheeky backchat! This crazy interactive alarm clock likes it when you say his name, responding with a cheery 'Yo' or 'that's me!' You can even ask him 'how do I look?'
Just be warned, sometimes he'll flatter you, other times his response could leave your ego slightly bruised! Like the best of us, Nobby can be a little sensitive, so don't shout at him or he may give you the silent treatment!
You can use Nobby as an alarm either by setting him manually, like a normal alarm clock, or by switching him to voice recognition mode. Tell him the time you want your alarm to go off and he'll even repeat it back to you to confirm - just say the word, and he'll obey!
Nobby not only beeps to wake you up, but chats away to you as well. To turn the alarm off, say 'alarm off', or, if you're not a morning person and you're feeling a little irritable, you can shake him! (Ok, we're not encouraging violence, but if Nobby was less than complimentary when you asked how you looked, it's a chance to get your own back!)
NB: Nobby, the talking clock is more responsive when using the mains adapter as the voice recognition feature uses a lot of battery power.
