"I recently purchased the IDE SATA Driver and have found it to be an excellent unit, I already have a couple of external hard drive cases, but they are so cumbersome compared to this unit - plus - this unit will do so much more, and so quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend it to anyone."

Mr B Hay, Worthing

"I bought this because i had a couple of 1G hard drives with info on, but they'd been removed from previouse upgrades. Worked a treat, now I use them as external storage devices without the expensive cases."

Mr K McAllister, Guildford

"This is an incredible device. Works on PCs and Macs with no problems. Easy to set up. I've got various hard drives (all IDE, no SATA yet) which I've been able to access (and even reformat) using this device. "

Mr G Miles, Ayrshire

"I bought the IDE/Sata to USB adapter a few months ago and found it a godsend, I made a clone of my c drive for back up using the device, a few weeks after I suffered a c drive failure, having made the backup I was able to take the crashed drive out and put the backup in, and not having to re-enstall everything. Bliss! I then formated the crashed drive and recloned the c drive again using the device, just in case. I have just purchased another one so I can swap files between hard drives, as I have several old internal hard drives its cheaper than buying external hard drives with the extra space they take up."

Mr C Schlarb, ipswich

"I have successfully used one bought in April 2007 to recover clients' data from a variety of hard drives with corrupted Windows installations. Have just recommended it to a colleague for the same purpose. Only short-coming is the lack of hardware instructions: 1. It's essential to connect everything EXCEPT the USB cable to the computer, power up the drive, then plug in the USB cable to your computer. 2. ALWAYS use the 'Safely Remove Hardware' facility (in System Tray), otherwise you are likely to corrupt the file system of an external drive."

Mr Guy Attfield, Gloucestershire

"I bought one of these a while ago, and it works OK on a PC, but so far it hasn't worked on my Mac. Although the drive appears on the finder, it doesn't read the files. I suspect it doesn't like Mac formatted drives. I subsequently bought an empty drive enclosure, which worked with my drives with no problem."

Mr Eddie Lord, Copthorne

"I have been operating the USB2.0 File Transfer Cable I purchased for three days now. It has proved extremely simple to use, and I must say I am very pleased with it. I am using it for exchanging files between two Windows PCs -- an older one with a 400MHz Pentium 2 and a newer one with an AMD Athlon X2 dual core. It saves a lot of plugging and unplugging of flash memory sticks, which was my previous way of transferring files. I can imagine other people would find a USB 2.0 File Transfer Cable of this type useful as a cheap way of synchronizing files between a laptop and a PC, if they don't want the complication of a full local area network (LAN). You just plug the cable in to a USB socket on each computer and go!"

Mr Richard Wilson, Staffordshire
